Overview
We made it a priority to decrease the user’s steps to book vacations while also increasing the interactivity of the site with the user. By creating divided and aesthetic call-to-action blocks on the site, the user could quickly find shortcuts to fulfill their desired mission in visiting the site.

Challenge
Royal Caribbean’s digital presence needed a refresh. Key issues included:
- Users faced a long and complex journey to make a booking or find trips, reducing conversion and increasing friction.
- The website’s UI/UX lacked modern interactivity and intuitive shortcuts, which meant potential guests were dropping off or spending too much time navigating.
- The backend, CMS and overall architecture weren’t optimised for the new design, making updates, content management and future-growth harder.
Solution
Arkotech Software tackled the challenge by delivering an integrated “design + development” solution that spanned UI/UX, CMS integration, backend development, and art-direction. The core elements were:
UI/UX Redesign
We reduced the number of user-steps required to make a booking or take action. By creating clearly divided, aesthetic “call-to-action” blocks, the site elevated key tasks to front-and-centre, making it easier and faster for visitors to find what they wanted.
Front-End & Interaction
More interactive elements were introduced (responsive design, smoother flows, quicker load times) so the site felt fresh, modern and aligned with the expectations of today’s travellers.
CMS Integration
A flexible content management system was implemented so Royal Caribbean’s team could update pages, promotions, trip information and images more easily—minimising reliance on heavy development for routine updates.
